There's many reasons why people might want to donate their eggs. A lot of ladies see that there's people out there who genuinely aren't gonna be able to complete their families without donation and basically just want to help those families, be it single women or same-sex couples. Obviously, in the London Women's Clinic, we treat lesbian and gay couples with the use of donor eggs to help them achieve their families. It can also be quite empowering for a lady to be able to donate her eggs, it's something that you can feel really proud and good about that you've helped those people create their families. And one of the benefits of donating your eggs with the egg bank is even though it is a process that can take a few weeks, you will receive £750 payment from the HFEA for completing that donation.
