What treatments do you offer for recurrent miscarriages?

Dr Amin Gorgy lists some of the treatments available for recurrent miscarriage at the Fertility & the Gynaecology Academy, and advises that these will depend on the findings of the tests. For instance, if there is a chromosomal aberration in one of the parents, IVF is an option in order to exclude the embryos with the possibility of the defect.

Treatment for recurrent miscarriage at the Fertility & the Gynaecology Academy would depend very much on the findings of the tests. So if there's a chromosomal aberration in one of the parents, we can do IVF and check the chromosomes in the embryos for that defect and exclude the embryos with the possibility of the defect and put back the embryos that have a better chance to result in pregnancy and a baby. If there is any problem within the cavity, with the womb, we can deal with it through doing hysteroscopy. If there's an infection, we offer a good course of antibiotics to both partners to clear the infection. If there is sperm DNA fragmentation, or if the sperm DNA fragmentations are elevated, there are sperm selection techniques to choose the most suitable and the best sperm to fertilise the egg. If there's an issue with the immune system imbalance in the female partner, and there are so many different aspects for that, we select the appropriate therapy that deals with that particular problem.
