What is vasectomy reversal?

Dr Suks Minhas, of London Andrology, says vasectomies can be reversed and they are especially successful if done within the first 10 years.

Transcript
Vasectomy reversal is performed in about 10% of the male population who've had a vasectomy, and this is often due to circumstances changing socially, where the two ends of the sperm tube can be joined up together, dependent upon the time elapsed since the vasectomy and the female partner age, so that the tubes can be joined together. If it's done within the first 10 years of the vasectomy being performed, then success rates are high.
