So we try and make that as easy as possible.
If you come to us with an initial inquiry about booking at the Linder Wing or our maternity unit at Clayton, you will talk to one of our coordinators and they will discuss different options and birth plans with us.
And then if you haven't already got a consultant, we'll provide you with our list and try and link you with somebody who is suitable for your care.
You have an initial appointment with that consultant, discuss a birth plan, an initial discussion about what you want to do, what type of treatment you would like, what type of delivery.
And then your consultant will take care of all the booking and their secretary will fill in a booking form, send it to our maternity team and they will process everything and be in touch with you.
They'll be in touch with you regularly throughout your pregnancy to book appointments, antenatal care and give you information about other services that you might want.
