What is the difference between IVF and next generation IVF treatment?
Simon Fishel states that the difference between IVF and next generation IVF is the drive for evolution in the IVF technology.

I suppose it's the drive for evolution in the IVF technology. It's to try to align it with this phrase now that's being used, precision based medicine. Is to try to be more precise about each individual and each individual couple that we're treating for their needs, their problems, their issues. They will have embryos, for example, that's very different to the next couple's embryos. So why treat them the same? Let's try to find anything that might give us direction to the areas of failure, and turn them into positivity. So if we know, for example, that 70% of embryos don't implant, why? What makes a 30% viable? And how then do we find those 30% and make sure those are the ones that are transferred? Very specific, precise, directional approach to what is a generic technology. That's what next generation is about.
