So we offer midwifelic care at all of our sites, Imperial, College Healthcare, Private Care. This package in particular is for women who are classified as low risk, so have minimal complications in their pregnancy so far and no significant medical conditions. It's for clients like yourself that may want a low intervention and minimal pain relief during their labour and birth. The way that our continuity works is it's a team-based model. So we have six or so midwives who aim to see you a couple of times each throughout your antenatal period and then also will look after you. One of the team members will look after you during your labour and also in the postnatal period as well. We also link you with one of our consultants who would see you at 34 weeks and would act as your link consultant if any complications were to arise antenatally or during labour in the postnatal period. So essentially if we as midwives felt that something needed to be escalated or reviewed, we would escalate to that link consultant who would come and do a review and then would either make a plan or take over your care if they felt it was clinically necessary.
