Transcript
Microphlebectomy is a minimally invasive varicose vein treatment.
You have it under local anesthesia and what we basically do is very very small cuts on the skin and remove the veins from underneath.
You can have it as a day case, walk in walk out, under local anesthetic.
Most of the people relate that very well under local anesthesia and the recovery time is really short.
You won't need any stitching because the cuts are very small and it's not the old school stripping technique.
It's completely different.
This is basically removing the veins from underneath the skin with a very minimal surgical technique.
