What is Marsden360 circulating tumour DNA (ctDNA) testing?

Transcript
Over the last few years, the growth in genomic testing has been absolutely exponential. So, it is now incredibly difficult for me to think of a cancer where genomic testing does not play a role in the accurate and faster diagnosis, prognostic information, or the selection of treatment for patients.

The Marsden360 is our tech transfer ctDNA test from Guardant. So, this harnesses all of the research and development that Guardant have put into their circulating tumour DNA and allows us to offer this for all of our patients in the UK and beyond.

So, for those who aren't familiar with the test, it's a blood test which looks for tiny fragments of the tumour DNA in the blood and allows us to look for molecular markers that allow us to firstly get a diagnosis or prognostic information for that patient, and also to potentially find molecularly matched treatments to ensure that patients are getting the best possible treatment.
