What is involved in a DNA fragmentation test?

In this short video, Dr Suks Minhas explains that a DNA fragmentation test includes testing a sperm sample. The results take 2 to 3 weeks to be processed.

Transcript
We offer a sperm DNA fragmentation test. The patient simply needs to produce a semen sample. It takes about two to three weeks to get the result back. And certainly, in using that result, we can interpret that to see whether or not patients may be more prone to DNA damage. And in fact, that might be a predictor of whether they're successful in both natural conception or pregnancy and also those from IVF treatment.
