BPPV, What is it?

BPPV is also known as Benign Positional Vertigo or Benign Paroxysmal Positional Veritgo, is caused by a build of crystals in the inner ear tubes which confuses the brain into thinking it is spinning fast.

Transcript
Benign positional vertigo, or benign paroxysmal positional vertigo, or BPPV, I give you all the names because different doctors, different patients use different names, is due to crystals building up in the inner ear. In the inner ear, we have a crystal clear fluid, like water, inside the tubes of the inner ear, and there should be nothing else but that fluid. Occasionally some crystals drop in that part of the inner ear and so when you move your head, they rattle inside the inner ear, giving the brain the impression that, wow, you are spinning fast.
