Transcript
A gentle caesarean section is one which technically is very similar as a surgeon to a standard caesarean. Delivering the baby very slowly, carefully and with very much the parents in mind and making them part of that experience. It is possible to see the baby being born, usually deliver the baby very slowly, allowing for delayed cord clamping, which is something which reduces the chance of the baby having anemia after the birth. And is thought to be helpful for the long term for that newborn period for the baby. It is possible to play music in the operating theatre. We want you to be as calm and as relaxed as possible. And we know that this is a really special day for you and your family for the birth of your baby.
