Transcript
The body has a lot of calcium, most of which is in bone. A small amount of calcium is dissolved in blood and it's held at a very constant level. If that calcium levels drops too low, the nerves start getting a little bit excitable and jumpy. And a low calcium can present with tingling, fizziness around the face, jumpiness, muscle twitching, and even, eventually, seizure activity if it's really low. That's what happens with a low calcium.
