What happens on the day of the varicose veins procedure?
On the day of your varicose veins procedure, preparation and recovery are straightforward. In this video, Mr. Ahmed Shalan explains what to expect.

On the day of the procedure, we recommend that you have a good breakfast and drink plenty of water.
Wear comfortable clothing. During the procedure, we will have to have access to your leg all the way to the groin.
The procedure takes about one hour and after the procedure, you will be able to walk.
You'll have bandage on your leg. Unfortunately, you won't be able to drive that day and for a couple of days after the procedure.
We recommend that you stay active and walk as much as possible and most of the patient will come back to their normal activity within a couple of days.
