What happens during an AnswerPack shoot?
Transcript
A typical answer pack filming session involves interviewing a consultant, a medical expert on camera, typically for about an hour where we answer between five and 20 questions that we have planned in advance that are normally questions that we know patients are looking for answers to. We try to keep it as natural as possible in that it should feel like a consultation that these doctors do day in, day out. One of the key things that we do is to get the consultants to use the word you as much as possible so that the audience, the patients looking for answers to their health questions feel that though they're being empathised with, that they're being directly spoken to. There'll be plenty of time for many takes if required, and only the best one ever get seen by anybody else. Also, the consultants are the expert, and so they would always have final approval of the content.
