What diets are likely to make my ibd pain worse?

Dr Bridgette Wilson explains that there is no set diet that can make your IBD pain particularly worse.

Transcript
There's no specific set diet that would make your IBD pain worse, so following any specific set of dietary rules wouldn't necessarily make your dietary pain worse. However, in the times when you're in a flare, so your IBD might be a little bit active at the time, or if you had Crohn's disease, and you had stricturing disease, so a narrowing of the bowel, then you might want to cut out things that contain coarse fibre. That would be things like the skins on fruits and vegetables and also whole grains, and that would be for a temporary period while you were in a more inflamed state.
