What diagnostic tests are part of MyTrack™ Myeloma?
Transcript
MyTrack™ Myeloma combines standard-of-care diagnostic tests with a whole suite of new, innovative diagnostics that we're offering as part of this pathway.
The new tests are combined with the other tests, and thereby the information that we derive is markedly enhanced.
So, for tumour characterisation, we standardise to a cytogenetic test, but we now add the MMProfiler SKY92 gene expression profile, which helps us identify another 6 to 10 percent of patients with risk of early relapse of their disease that we would miss otherwise by genetic testing alone.
We all, of course, use normal response assessments by serological markers, but MyTrack™ on top of that offers the clonoSEQ MRD test by NGS from bone marrow cells.
This test has a 10 to the minus 6 sensitivity, and allows to track down to one cell in a million bone marrow cells for residual disease tracking.
It is really useful to establish the deep response after treatment, at sustained remission of the tumour after treatment.
And the third test that we're using, which is novel, is the EXENT test, which is a mass spectrometry test which allows power protein tracking with 10 to 20 times higher sensitivity than the current serum power protein tests.
This is operating on a peripheral blood sample alone, and thereby allows non-invasive, or little invasive, tracking of the tumour of an individual patient over time, and is especially useful in long-term remission control.
