What are the treatment options for epididymal cysts?

Dr Suks Minhas, a Consultant Urologist and Andrologist at London Andrology, says removal of the cyst is surgically straight forward and involves general anaesthetic. Occasionally, removal of the sperm tube is necessary therefore it is only performed in older males who no longer need to conceive.

Transcript
The surgical treatment of epidermal cysts is quite straightforward. It involves a general anaesthetic and removal of the cysts, which are at the back of the sperm tube. And essentially, you've excised the cyst. Sometimes, you have to remove the sperm tube itself, hence the issue surrounding fertility. So, you'd only tend to do this surgery once men are happy that they've finished or completed their family, or not trying for children.
