What are the risks of YAG laser capsulotomy?

Transcript
Once the procedure is done, the posterior capsular opacification won't grow back. The main complications are a rise in intraocular pressure, but most people will have some drops put in at the end of the procedure to stop that happening. The other complication that is reasonably frequent is floaters, which can appear as dust-like objects in the eye. They tend to settle spontaneously after a few weeks to months. There are some more serious, but very rare, complications, and we would discuss that with you before going ahead with the procedure.
