What are the risks of eyelid surgery?

As with any surgery, operating on the eyelid can come with some risk. Andre Litwin, Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon at Sapphire Eye Care, explains what you can expect after the procedure and how your eyes may be impacted.

Transcript
So overall, the risk of eyelid surgery if you choose an experienced surgeon, such as the team at Sapphire, should be very low indeed. So obviously some bruising, swelling, faint scars can be expected, but as long as you follow guidance and the recovery plan, eyelid surgery should be very safe.
