It's very difficult to pinpoint the diagnosis of recurrent miscarriage, but it's usually a multifactorial problem. Usually there are some few minor problems, but together they can add up. And that's why when we investigate cases of recurrent miscarriage, we look at different areas like the chromosomes of the parents, the cavity of the womb to make sure that it is good enough to accommodate a pregnancy, and the possible infections. We look also at the DNA fragmentation, which is the breaking down of the DNA [inaudible] the sperm, and most important and the biggest group of investigation is to test the immune system of the mother, to make sure that it is well-balanced to accommodate and welcome a pregnancy.
