So the most common type of skin cancer is a cancer called a basal cell carcinoma. Probably the second most common type is one called a squamous cell carcinoma. And the third most common type, and possibly the most dangerous, is one called a melanoma. And again, as I said earlier, these are named after the actual cell type and where they come from.
