What aftercare steps should I follow following varicose vein treatment?
Proper aftercare supports recovery after varicose vein treatment. In this video, Mr. Ahmed Shalan explains bandage care, activity guidance and when to avoid sun exposure.

You will leave the treatment room with bandage around your leg.
We recommend to keep that bandage around your leg for three days.
Well hydration and staying active is something really positive and we recommend all of our patients to do this.
Unfortunately, you won't be able to have a shower for three days because we need to keep that bandage dry.
After that, you can take the bandage off and have a shower and go back to your normal activities.
We recommend to stay off the sunlight for about two weeks to avoid any pigmentation or staining of the skin.
