Testicular cancer is very common in the 20 to 30 age group and is one of the commonest malignancies in men in that age group. Now, the symptoms vary, and the symptoms can vary of either a swelling within the area, pain, and sometimes, of course, breast enlargement can also occur due to secretion of some types of hormone or chemicals produced by the testes tumour. But invariably, a lump is the first thing a patient will notice when they're examining themselves. So all men should be encouraged to examine themselves every three months in a warm bath just to make sure they don't feel that anything warrants a more concern. And if they feel that they do, then they should either contact their GP urgently or see a urologist.
