The long-term oncological outcomes of testicular cancer are excellent.
We're talking about more than 99% survival rate at five years.
This is specifically important given the type of population that affects testicular cancer which are generally young males which end up having an almost normal life expectancy after treatment.
It is important to be diagnosed early and also to be treated in a specialised centre because it has been demonstrated that the outcomes are better in centres that specialise in this kind of treatment.
