I have persistent dizziness that has not been diagnosed yet, can you help?
Persistent dizziness is quite common says Professor Bronstein. Undiagnosed underlying inner ear problems and psychological complications are usually causes behind chronic dizziness.

Persistent or long-term dizziness is very very common. It can be due to problems of the inner ear which maybe have not been fully resolved. It may happen in patients with repetitive migraine episodes. And it may happen in patients with psychological complication of some of these inner ear problems. One can have an inner ear problem that makes you anxious and worried. The worry leads to more awareness of the dizziness. And this vicious circle where you actually have an initial inner ear problem and then a secondary worry and psychological discomfort with your dizziness tends to make matters worse. So those three, migraine, psychology, and inner ear problems are very frequent in producing chronic dizziness or long-term dizziness.
