I have a bent penis: what causes this?

Dr Suks Minhas explains that a bent penis can be due to a number of problems – some men are born with some degree of a curve, and that this can affect their ability to have intercourse. A more common cause is due to Peyronie’s disease, in which scar tissue develops on the penis.

Transcript
A bent penis can be due to a number of conditions. Firstly, it can actually be a natural phenomenon, because most men all have a degree of curvature in the penis which they're born with. Some men may have a congenital curve, or a curve they're born with, which restricts their ability to have intercourse. It's usually noticed when men are in their teens or early twenties, and they may find it's difficult to have sex. The alternative is that of Peyronie's disease, which is a more common cause, which is scar tissue that develops on the penis.
