How often should I have a follow up or annual checkup after varicose vein treatment?
After varicose vein treatment, follow up is important. In this video, Mr. Ahmed Shalan describes the usual review schedule, including early telephone checks and a face to face appointment.

After varicose vein treatment, we will arrange for a telephone consultation with you within a week of the procedure.
A team member will give you a call to check on you.
We're more than happy to receive a phone call from you at any time if you have any concerns.
In four to six weeks, we will arrange a face-to-face follow-up with the surgeon.
At that point, we'll check that you're happy with the treatment and hopefully we'll discharge you from the clinic.
In the future, if you develop any further varicose vein, we're more than happy to offer our service and give you further options for treatment.
