How might relationship issues affect your sex life?

Felix Economakis explains that relationship issues can affect your sex life by reducing desire for one another, and making excuses not to have sex.

Transcript
Relationship issues can affect sex life in a number of ways. The first thing is if there is some kind of ongoing tension between the partners, a lot of recent arguing, it's likely that one or both partners can be kind of cheesed off with other and if that happens you might see an element of passive aggressive responses. Oh no, I've got a headache I can't, oh no, I feel ill and sort of punishing the other partner and of course anger is not conducive to sex. The second thing is, people start to worry about their partner's feeling. Oh, do they think I'm not a real man? Or do they think I'm not desirable and attractive in some way? And all these misunderstandings kind of take over instead of saying, well, it's actually nothing to do with that, it's just me kind of getting a bit too worried about doing it right. So it's important to put things in a proper context.
