How does IUI with Donors work?
Andrew Thomson explains that IUI with Donors works the same as with a woman’s partner – the sperm is prepared in the lab, and the woman comes in for implantation.

So with IUIs with donor sperm is you purchase donor sperm, we review all the paperwork, it's sent to us, and we store it in liquid oxygen until the right day. When a patient has ovulation, detects an ovulation, she comes in. We prepare the donor sperm in the laboratory to maximise the amount of motile sperm there and then that's replaced back to her. And the success rates with that are between 20 and 25%.
