How do you test for low ovarian reserve?

Dr Haitham Hamodaexplains that doctors test forlow ovarian reserveby assessing how many eggs a patient has, not the qualitity of eggs that she has.

Transcript
Ovarian reserve testing is an assessment of oocyte or egg quantity that a female patient would have. So, there are a number of tests that can be used to assess ovarian reserve, and they give us a reflection of the quantity of eggs that individual patients would have. It should be differentiated from egg quality. Age is often the reflection of egg quality. So when we look and counsel the patient about their potential in that respect, you're looking at both quantity and quality. And ovarian reserve assessment is usually your reflection of egg quantity.
