How can stress cause premature ejaculation?

Felix Economakis explains that stress can contribute to premature ejaculation because it causes a person to give themselves performance anxiety.

Transcript
Stress can contribute to premature ejaculation, in that a person is giving themselves performance anxiety. The ideal environment for sex is no pressure, no expectation, carefree and spontaneous.
