Psychotherapyis a very good tool in order to resolve some of the fears we have likephobias, or like phobias in terms of spiders or heights and so forth. And one of the reasons it works is because we're able in increments and working with increments in therapy. So slowly identifying what the fears are and slowly working through a process of graded exposure and understanding that we can cope with this fear. We can cope with the element of really feeling the emotional and physical sensation of fear and getting accustomed. So it's a way of getting used to the fear in small steps and then challenging and taking that risk.
