Felix Economakis reminds you that your doctor is used to hearing all sorts of things, and so you should not feel embarrassed to speak to them about erectile dysfunction.

How can I talk to my doctor about erectile dysfunction? Well remember that your doctors are used to hearing all sorts of things, so please don't think, oh, they've never heard it or they'll judge me. Trust me, I talk to doctors, and they're really really cool about hearing pretty much everything. And the first thing I think your doctor will do is recommend some form of counselling. So if you have a counselling department in the GP surgery, they'll probably do that. Or they might advise you to look and find somebody who works in the field and has good knowledge of working with it. Don't be put off by any lack of information. Always ask the therapist, what's your experience, have you worked with this before? What's your success rate? These are important things to ask people.
