PGD is very accurate and the genetic tests use within it have improved significantly over the last few years. So, when it first started it was looking at the main chromosome components, the large sections of genes. And this has progressed and has now got the ability to look for very small genes and many conditions where an identified cause for the condition is known about can be accessed through PGD.
