Can IVF help with recurrent miscarriage?

Dr Amin Gorgy advises that IVF is not the best treatment for recurrent miscarriage, unless there is a chromosomal abnormality inherited from the parents. In this case, you can use IVF to check the chromosomes in the embryos, and select the one with a normal chromosomal pattern.

Transcript
The IVF is not the treatment for recurrent miscarriage unless there is a chromosomal abnormality particularly inherited from the parents. Because you can do IVF, check the chromosomes in the embryos, and select the one with the normal chromosomal pattern. For other causes of recurrent miscarriage, the IVF is not the mainstream treatment. The mainstream treatment is to correct or balance the abnormality. But when you correct the abnormality, particularly in the immune system, the balance is maintained for about four to six months. It's not going to be maintained forever. And you have to use this period to achieve a pregnancy. If it doesn't happen naturally, maybe IVF will help here. On top of that, we need to check the balance during the pregnancy and to maintain the balance for some time during pregnancy.
