Being too preoccupied with your partner's sexual satisfaction can lead to premature ejaculation. It's for the simple reason that instead of enjoying sex in the moment, a person's worrying about something bad about to happen, like, well this is good now, but am I gonna cum too early? Am I gonna cum now, or in the next second? I'm a bit excited, is that gonna lead to it? And then of course they're focusing on something undesirable happening and they stop paying attention to the good stuff that's happening. The focus of attention is very important. We tell people, calm everything down, focus on being in the moment, enjoying what you have now. And you know what, if you do cum early or you don't get an erection, it's okay. Every man will have it if they're having regular sex, it's gonna happen time to time. Get it out the way, focus once again on the good stuff.
