A warm climate can affect the adhesion of their stoma appliance. So some people find they need to change their appliances more frequently because of the heat, because they're perspiring more than they would do at home. So hence the why it's a good idea to take extra supplies. Some people will also find that security frames are needed because that provides an extra adhesive surface, which can can help. And also some people find that a sort of supportive belt, like a just a thin supportive belt or band can really help just hold everything in a little bit more. It's also really important in a warmer climate to think about where you're storing your stoma bag. So maybe take a cool bag or one of those insulated sort of thick shopping bags, because that means that they're going to be kept to a cooler temperature and the adhesive is less likely to be affected.
